Field Study #5 (November 13)
present climate conditions: Light snow from the day before and the day of. Has been off and on snow storms and high wind speeds for hours. About an inch of snow. Not much snow is sticking because the ground is not frozen yet but some is still there. Very cloudy. No other precipitation or weather conditions.
temperature: 34 Degrees F.
length of day:
organisms: One whitetail doe seen and multiple squirrels, I also saw a muskrat in the ditch which seemed interesting to me with how cold it is.. Whitetail traffic is still increasing as seen in the second picture, and now it is very easily seen with the snow so you can see a lot more tracks. No turkey's or turkey tracks were seen.
changes noticed since the last visit: There are no leaves left on the deciduous trees. Increased levels of animal tracks. There is now snow.
Great job! I love that you're looking for tracks, too!
